The Bombardier Global 6000 is the 2012-onward development of the Global Express XRS, with Rolls-Royce BR710 engines, the Bombardier Vision flight deck and 6,000 nm of range in our spec data. Four aircraft appear in the June 2026 snapshot, with one disclosed price: $22,750,000 for a 2013 jet in the UAE; Asian owners shortlist it when they want a Global cabin for Europe and Australia trips on a mid-life airframe.
Its successor, the Global 6500, entered service in 2019, so every Global 6000 is bought pre-owned. Hours, engine programme status and the next calendar inspection separate a good purchase from an expensive one.

Global 6000 for sale: four aircraft in June 2026
The snapshot lists four Global 6000s built from 2013 to 2017, with 1,386 to 5,800 hours:
- 2013, United Arab Emirates, 5,800 hours, $22,750,000. The only public price, on a mid-life aircraft.
- 2013, Minnesota, 5,512 hours, price on call. Airframe and engines on programmes, new paint in 2025, interior refurbished in 2024 and Starlink fitted in 2026.
- 2016, Romania, 1,386 hours, open to offers. Rolls-Royce CorporateCare, a custom forward galley and a certified crew rest.
- 2017, Tennessee, 1,946 hours, open to offers. Fully enrolled on programmes and set up for 15 passengers.
The UAE aircraft is the closest to Asia. Dubai to Mumbai is 1,040 nm and Dubai to Singapore 3,160 nm, so delivery is a short positioning flight; our Dubai page covers that regional market.
What drives a Global 6000 price
With one public number, we explain the drivers rather than guess the rest. The two 2013 jets have flown roughly three to four times the hours of the 2016 and 2017 examples, and that gap feeds straight into engine and airframe reserves.
Engine programme status is the second lever: a BR710 on Rolls-Royce CorporateCare carries its cover to the next owner, while an unenrolled engine leaves the next overhaul bill to the buyer. Then come calendar inspections, cabin and paint age, and connectivity. A fresh interior and a 2026 Starlink install, as on the Minnesota jet, cut what a new owner spends in the first years. For unpriced tails we request the seller's figure directly.
Global 6000 range from Hong Kong, Tokyo and Singapore
Here the 6,000 nm figure meets still-air great-circle mileage, with headroom kept for wind, cabin load and reserve fuel:
- Hong Kong to London, 5,220 nm. Nonstop with a working margin.
- Tokyo (Haneda) to London, 5,200 nm. Similar margin, on a route that suits North Asian owners.
- Singapore to Sydney, 3,400 nm. An easy leg with every seat filled.
- Singapore to Zurich, 5,560 nm. Only 440 nm inside the range, which leaves the call to the day's winds and cabin load.
- Singapore to London, 5,890 nm. Right at the edge. With a full cabin against winter headwinds, plan a possible fuel stop in the Gulf.
From Global Express to 6000, 6500 and 5000
The Global Express entered service in the late 1990s, followed by the longer-range Global Express XRS. Bombardier renamed the XRS the Global 6000 in 2011, and deliveries from 2012 brought the Vision flight deck, built on Rockwell Collins Pro Line Fusion avionics.
The Global 6500 followed in 2019, pairing Pearl 15 engines with a reworked wing for 6,600 nm. The Global 5000 is the shorter-fuselage sibling with less range. When comparing listings, match the model and serial number to the type records, because an XRS and a 6000 differ in avionics and value.
Mid-life Global 6000 checklist
- BR710 engine cover. Confirm CorporateCare status, any reinstatement cost and time to the next engine event.
- Calendar inspections. On 2013 aircraft, find out which major calendar inspection comes next and whether the seller has booked it.
- Flight deck standard. Vision software load, FANS 1/A+ datalink, ADS-B Out and CPDLC for European airspace.
- Connectivity. Older satcom may be SwiftBroadband or Ku-band; Ka-band or Starlink changes the cabin on long overwater sectors.
- Crew rest certification if long legs with an augmented crew are planned; one June listing reports a certified crew rest.
- Refurbishment records: who painted and refurbished the aircraft, and the approvals behind the work.
- Corrosion on jets that sat outdoors in heat, or that will be based in humid Manila, Jakarta or Kuala Lumpur.
Our pre-purchase inspection guide explains how the independent inspection is scoped.
Registering a Global 6000 in the Gulf or Southeast Asia
A Dubai-based owner would normally look at the UAE (A6-) register. In Southeast Asia, owners use Malaysia (9M-), Thailand (HS-) or the Philippines (RP-C) when the aircraft is based and operated at home, and Isle of Man (M-) or Aruba (P4-) when it is not. Each country sets its own import rules and taxes, so settle them with an adviser before signing. Our part covers records checks, escrow closing, delivery and support with the registration filing.

Can a Global 6000 fly Singapore to London nonstop?
Only just. The route is 5,890 nm against a 6,000 nm range, so winds, payload and reserves decide it, and in winter headwinds with a full cabin you should expect a fuel stop. Hong Kong to London, 5,220 nm, leaves far more margin.
Is the Global 6000 the same as the Global Express XRS?
It is the development of the XRS, renamed in 2011 and delivered from 2012 with the Bombardier Vision flight deck. The airframe family is shared, so check which model and avionics standard a listed aircraft actually has.
How many passengers does a Global 6000 carry?
Our data lists 13, matching three of the June 2026 listings. The 2017 aircraft in Tennessee is configured for 15.
Should I buy a 2013 or a 2016-2017 Global 6000?
Hours and programmes matter more than year. The 2013 jets in the June data carry 5,512 and 5,800 hours, the later two under 2,000. A high-time jet with full programme cover and fresh inspections can still be the better buy, so we compare both on records before you choose.
