The Bombardier Global 6500 is the successor to the Global 6000, with new Rolls-Royce Pearl 15 engines, a re-profiled wing and 6,600 nm of range on our data sheet. None of the three aircraft captured in June 2026 carries a public price, so figures are released on request; in Asia it goes to owners in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Tokyo and Singapore who want Europe nonstop without paying for Global 7500 length.
All three were built in 2022 or 2023 and show between 501 and 2,036 hours, so this is a young-aircraft market. Warranty transfer, engine cover and Bombardier service history weigh more here than cosmetic condition.

Global 6500 range: routes from North and Southeast Asia
We measure each mission as a still-air great-circle distance and compare it with 6,600 nm, keeping a margin for wind, load and fuel reserves:
- Hong Kong to London, 5,220 nm. About 80% of range, a comfortable nonstop for a full cabin.
- Tokyo (Haneda) to New York, 5,860 nm. Nonstop in most seasons; the westbound flight home in winter is the one to check.
- Singapore to Geneva, 5,670 nm. Inside the range with a working margin.
- Hong Kong to San Francisco, 6,010 nm. Within 10% of the published figure, so wind and payload settle it on the day.
- Jakarta to London, 6,360 nm. Close to the limit; stiff winter headwinds may mean refuelling en route.
- Mumbai to Teterboro, 6,760 nm. Longer than the range. Plan a stop, or look at the Global 7500.
Global 6500 price and the June 2026 listings
Three aircraft were listed in June 2026, and none discloses an asking price:
- a 2022 jet in Kansas with 650 hours, one owner since delivery, always hangared, on Bombardier Smart Parts, with a Level III pre-purchase inspection already done (make offer);
- a 2023 jet in Monaco with 501 hours, a 500-hour inspection by Bombardier in 2026 and about 170 hours flown a year, marked deal pending;
- a 2022 jet in Italy with 2,036 hours, Rolls-Royce CorporateCare Enhanced, Smart Parts, Ka-band Wi-Fi and a single owner since new (price on call).
Two are in Europe and one in the US. Without public numbers, value between them turns on hours (the Italian aircraft has flown more than three times as much as either of the others), remaining warranty, programme cover and interior layout. We ask the sellers for their figures and confirm which tails are still free once you get in touch; the Monaco jet may already be committed.
Global 6500 vs Global 6000 and Global 7500
The 6500 keeps the fuselage of the Global 6000 and changes what matters on long legs: Pearl 15 engines in place of the BR710, a re-profiled wing and 600 nm more range. Bombardier also offered it with the Nuage seat that debuted on the Global 7500. Cabin height on our spec sheet is unchanged at 1.88 m.
The Global 7500 is a separate design with GE Passport engines, fly-by-wire controls, a longer cabin with a fourth zone and 7,700 nm of range. For most Asia-to-Europe flying the 6500 covers the distance; the 7500 earns its place on transpacific and India-to-US East Coast legs.
Global 6500 for sale: what we inspect
- Rolls-Royce CorporateCare or CorporateCare Enhanced on the Pearl 15 engines, with written confirmation that cover passes to the buyer.
- Airframe cover through Bombardier Smart Parts or Smart Services; two of the June listings mention Smart Parts.
- Factory warranty still running on 2022-2023 aircraft, and the steps to transfer it.
- Inspections done versus due. One seller reports a 500-hour inspection in 2026 and another a Level III pre-purchase inspection; we still arrange an independent one for our buyer.
- Cabin connectivity: Ka-band is common; confirm coverage over the Bay of Bengal and the Pacific for your flying.
- Datalink approvals: ADS-B Out plus FANS 1/A+ and CPDLC, documented in the approvals file rather than just the equipment list.
- Utilisation. Low hours are welcome, but long parked periods need their own checks.
- Corrosion baseline for a jet moving from a European hangar to a humid Southeast Asian base.
Our engine programme guide explains how hourly cover feeds into value.
Registering a Global 6500 in Hong Kong, China or Japan
North Asian owners weigh local against offshore registers. Hong Kong uses B-H, B-K and B-L marks; mainland China uses B- with import approvals and taxes that need specialist advice; Japan uses JA. Many owners prefer an offshore register such as San Marino (T7-) or Aruba (P4-) with a professional operator.
For the two jets now in Europe, deregistration from their current register has to be planned alongside the new one. We coordinate records verification, escrow and the delivery flight; tax structuring stays with your advisers.

Can a Global 6500 fly Hong Kong to London nonstop?
Yes. The distance is 5,220 nm against 6,600 nm of range, which leaves room for a full cabin and a winter westbound headwind. Singapore to London, at 5,890 nm, also works in normal conditions.
Does the Global 6500 have a bigger cabin than the Global 6000?
No. The two share a fuselage, and our data shows 1.88 m cabin height for both. The gains are in engines, wing and range, plus newer cabin options such as the Nuage seat.
Can a Global 6500 fly Mumbai to New York?
Not nonstop. The great-circle distance is 6,760 nm, beyond the 6,600 nm range, so a stop is needed. New Delhi to New York is 6,340 nm, inside the range but close enough that winds and load decide.
Which engine programme should a used Global 6500 have?
Rolls-Royce CorporateCare or CorporateCare Enhanced for the Pearl 15 engines. One June 2026 listing is enrolled in CorporateCare Enhanced; for the others we would get cover confirmed in writing before an offer.
