The Gulfstream G500 is a clean-sheet, fly-by-wire large-cabin jet with 5,300 nm of range and seats for 13, and the one disclosed asking price in our June 2026 snapshot is $43,900,000 for a 2020 aircraft with 453 hours in Germany. Buyers in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta pick it for Tokyo, Dubai and Sydney missions with a current-generation cockpit.
Four G500s were listed in June, built 2019 to 2022 with 333 to 2,180 hours. Three are in Europe and one in Kazakhstan, the nearest to an Asian home base. We locate the aircraft, audit its records, organise an independent inspection and manage escrow, the ferry and registration.

Symmetry flight deck: G500 versus G450 and G600
Gulfstream designed the G500 from scratch to replace the G450, and deliveries began after FAA certification in 2018. It flies on Pratt & Whitney Canada PW814GA engines and was the first Gulfstream certified with the Symmetry Flight Deck: electronically linked active control sidesticks and touchscreen controllers on a Honeywell Primus Epic base.
Against the G450 you gain fly-by-wire, newer engines, a taller cabin (1.91 m against 1.88 m) and more range. The G600 uses the same cockpit on a longer fuselage with more range. One naming trap: a 2000s-era 'G500' was a reduced-fuel G550 variant built 2003 to 2012, an entirely different aircraft.
G500 price in the June 2026 snapshot
- 2020, 453 hours, Germany: $43,900,000. Described as the most-wanted configuration; no engine programme listed.
- 2019, 333 hours, Kazakhstan: make offer. Ultra-low time and 'recently enhanced'.
- 2022, 1,685 hours, United Kingdom: make offer. The youngest aircraft in the group.
- 2020, 2,180 hours, Monaco: contact for pricing. Engines on maintenance programmes, SwiftBroadband Wi-Fi, 13-plus seats.
One disclosed figure does not make a market, so we do not extrapolate values for the other three. The German jet's ask is a reference for a low-hour 2020 aircraft, not a benchmark for the 2,180-hour example in Monaco. What separates them is hours, engine programme enrolment, warranty left, connectivity and the cabin plan. The snapshot dates from June; we recheck every tail with the seller first.
G500 range and specs from Singapore and Kuala Lumpur
Our figures: 5,300 nm range, 13 passengers, 516 kt cruise, 1.91 m cabin height. The mileages quoted are great-circle, with no wind.
- Singapore to Tokyo (Haneda), 2,860 nm. Just over half the range.
- Kuala Lumpur to Dubai, 2,980 nm. Comfortable with a full cabin.
- Singapore to Sydney, 3,400 nm. About 64%.
- Mumbai to London, 3,910 nm. About 74%, comfortable in most seasons.
- Tokyo to San Francisco, 4,470 nm. Around 84%.
- Shanghai to London, 5,010 nm, and Hong Kong to London, 5,220 nm. Both sit within 10% of the published figure, so the day's winds, the load and required reserves settle it; in winter headwinds, expect a fuel stop.
Singapore to London (5,890 nm) is beyond range. Stopping in Mumbai gives a 2,120 nm first leg and a 3,910 nm second.
Pre-owned G500 checklist
- Engine programme. Three of the four June listings state no engine programme. Ask whether the PW814GAs are on the Pratt & Whitney Canada Eagle Service Plan (ESP) and what joining would involve.
- Warranty. On 2019-2022 aircraft, confirm what factory cover remains and how it transfers.
- Service bulletins. Request the list of software loads and bulletins incorporated; one seller mentions recent enhancements.
- Connectivity. SwiftBroadband is slow for a business cabin, so ask about the upgrade path to Ka-band or Starlink before you agree terms.
- Mandates. Confirm the FANS 1/A+ and CPDLC data link plus ADS-B Out are certified, not just fitted.
- Provenance. For an aircraft leaving Central Asia, we check the ownership chain and export paperwork with extra care.
- First big inspection. Ask when the first major calendar inspection falls due and whether the seller will complete it before closing.
- Humid basing. A young airframe has had less time to corrode, but once the jet lives in Jakarta or Kuala Lumpur, drains, wheel wells and galley floors belong on every inspection.
Gulfstream G500 for sale to Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore
Malaysia (9M-), Indonesia (PK-) and Singapore (9V-) each run their own certification and import steps, and local tax treatment differs, so we line up an adviser before the purchase agreement. Many regional owners use offshore marks instead, such as Aruba (P4-), San Marino (T7-) or the Isle of Man (M-), with a management company operating the aircraft. The Kazakhstan-based jet has the shortest ferry to Asia; the European tails usually route through the Gulf. Our Kuala Lumpur page covers the Malaysian side.

Is the G500 just a newer G550?
No. The G500 sold since 2018 is a clean-sheet design with fly-by-wire, PW814GA engines and the Symmetry flight deck, while the G550 descends from the Gulfstream V. The confusion comes from an older, reduced-fuel G550 variant that Gulfstream also called the G500.
Can a G500 fly Hong Kong to London nonstop?
Only in good conditions. The great-circle distance is 5,220 nm against a 5,300 nm published range, so a full cabin, winter headwinds or a long routing will push it into a fuel stop. We would plan one and treat nonstop as possible, not certain.
How many passengers does a G500 carry?
Up to 13 on our data sheet, and every aircraft in the June 2026 listings is set up for 13. One Monaco-based jet is described as 13-plus, so ask for the exact seating diagram.
Is there a G500 for sale in Asia?
The June 2026 snapshot includes one in Kazakhstan: a 2019 aircraft with 333 hours offered on a make-offer basis. The other three are in Germany, the United Kingdom and Monaco. Wherever the aircraft sits, we arrange the inspection near its base and plan the ferry to yours.
