PK- registration under the DGCA
Indonesian aircraft carry the PK- prefix on a register kept by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (Direktorat Jenderal Perhubungan Udara) within the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub). Halim or Soekarno-Hatta
Halim Perdanakusuma (HLP) is the usual choice for private flights: an Indonesian Air Force base that also takes civil traffic and sits much closer to central Jakarta than Soekarno-Hatta. Halim's VVIP terminal was renovated in 2022, and private jets returned to the field that September after runway works. Soekarno-Hatta (CGK) is the alternative, and the natural choice when passengers connect to airline flights.
