Heavy Jets for Sale

11 heavy aircraft in our June 2026 market snapshot, disclosed asking prices from $43,900,000. Large-cabin comfort with transcontinental and intercontinental range for executive teams.

Every heavy jet for sale in our June 2026 data is a Gulfstream: five G550s, four G500s and two G600s, 11 aircraft built between 2004 and 2022. Only one seller published a figure, $43,900,000 for a 2020 G500 in Germany; the other ten price privately. Ranges run from 5,300 nm on the G500 to 6,750 nm on the G550, which puts Singapore to Istanbul (4,690 nm) within reach of all three and Singapore to London (5,890 nm) within reach of the G550 and G600.

Heavy jet price: why ten of eleven are on request

The listings in this class, model by model:

  • G550: 5 aircraft, 2004-2018, all on request
  • G500: 4 aircraft, 2019-2022, one published ask of $43,900,000
  • G600: 2 aircraft, 2021-2022, both on request

Sellers of large-cabin Gulfstreams often keep numbers private because two jets of the same year can be millions apart. The gap comes from inspection status (one 2004 G550 in the file reports a 192-month inspection and refurbishment in 2020), engine programme cover (Rolls-Royce CorporateCare for the G550's BR710s, Pratt & Whitney Canada ESP for the G500 and G600), connectivity such as Ka-band or Starlink, and damage history. Our guide to engine programmes explains why enrolment changes a valuation.

Cabin or range: G500, G600 and G550 compared

These three show the trade-off every heavy-jet buyer makes. The G550 has the longest legs at 6,750 nm and a 1.88 m cabin, but the listed examples run from 2004 to 2018. The G500 brings the newer Symmetry flight deck and a 1.91 m cabin in our data at the shortest range, 5,300 nm. The G600 stretches that generation to 6,600 nm and up to 16 seats.

On Asian routes: Hong Kong to London (5,220 nm) is within 2% of the G500's figure, so we would expect a stop against winter headwinds, while the G550 and G600 manage it with margin. The 6,010 nm leg from Hong Kong to San Francisco suits the G550 and is within 10% for the G600. For Hong Kong to New York (6,990 nm), look at the ultra long range class instead.

Basing a heavy jet in Asia

Before a heavy jet leaves the US or Europe we confirm three things at its new base. Hangar space comes first: large-cabin hangars at the region's busy business airports are scarce, and an aircraft parked outside in tropical humidity needs closer corrosion checks. Maintenance comes second: Jet Aviation at Seletar in Singapore is a Gulfstream-authorised centre, which keeps scheduled work in the region. Third, avionics: FANS 1/A+ and ADS-B Out are expected on the oceanic and upper-airspace routes these aircraft fly.

Heavy Jets: buyer questions

How many passengers does a heavy jet carry?

The listings show up to 13 seats in the G500, 14 in the G550 and 16 in the G600. On overnight sectors, beds reduce the practical count, so plan on fewer people for a Singapore to London night flight than the seat maps suggest.

Is a G550 still a good buy in 2026?

It can be. The type has the longest range in this class and a long service record, and every June 2026 example was offered on request. Value rests on engine programme cover, inspection status and whether the avionics meet current mandates; a G550 without CorporateCare needs a hard look at overhaul exposure.

What is the difference between a heavy and an ultra long range jet?

Mostly positioning. On this site heavy covers the G500, G550 and G600, while ultra long range covers types such as the Global 7500 and G650ER. The G550's 6,750 nm beats several ultra long range listings, so we would choose by the routes you fly, not by the label.
